Tomorrow, November 16, Missoula will be the starting point for a bunch of new U.S. Citizens, but they won’t be exiting the doors of a local hospital, they’ll be getting their starting point a Missoula Federal building.

"We have 31 wonderful new people that are going to become citizens of the United States of America," said Susan Campbell Reneau. "They are going to take the oath of citizenship from Judge Dana Christensen at 11:00 a.m. at the Federal Judicial Building on Broadway."

Reneau is a member of the Daughters of the Revolution who will be on-site to throw a post-citizenship celebration. Groups like the Boy Scouts and the American Legion will be on hand to celebrate as well as members of the general public.

"If anyone wants to see the ceremony it is open to the public, you do have to go through security at the federal building... it's just like going through the airport, but it is just lovely and we do have 31 this time, which is a relatively high number," Reneau said

This group of new citizens come from 18 different countries including Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, China, Colombia, Cuba, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Laos, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
