Missoula Police conducted a high speed chase through Pattee Canyon and the south side of Missoula that came to an end around 5:25 this morning near Splash Montana.

The chase began at 5:09, near the Deer Creek shooting range when Sheriff's Deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle for speeding.

According to Police scanner information, spike sticks were laid down at several points during the chase, and at one point, the car was speeding through a residential area at 80 miles per hour.

It appears that chase ended without a crash, although there were reports of individuals being taken to St. Patrick Hospital. Three people are thought to be in custody.

All of this information was gleaned by listening to the police scanner. We will have more details on the cause of the chase and the outcome as soon as we hear details from local law enforcement.
