Carroll Ranked 2nd In Final NAIA Football Poll

NAIA national champion St. Xavier of Illinois is ranked first and runner-up Carroll College is ranked second in the final football poll of the 2011 season.

Marian of Indiana is ranked third, Georgetown of Kentucky fourth and Azusa Pacific fifth.

St. Xavier edged Carroll College 24-20 in the title game Saturday in Rome, Ga.

Eastern Oregon of the Frontier Conference — the only team besides St. Xavier to beat Carroll this season — is ranked 19th.
