Head coach Mick Delaney is adding strength and speed to the Grizzly offense with the addition of two transfers from Football Bowl Subdivision schools, Boise State and the University of Washington.

This past weekend, Missoula was host to the Orvis Guide Rendezvous Show. This show included both Montana-based companies and companies based outside of Montana, all of which cater to fly fishing in some aspect or another. Fans who attend the final spring scrimmage Friday night under the lights at Washington Grizzly will be treated to special guests on the field, Super Dave and Johnny Montana.

At a packed house in the Press Box Restaurant, players, coaches and maroon-clad fans eagerly awaited Greg Gumbel on the CBS-TV NCAA Selection Sunday show just who the Grizzlies would play in the first round of the NCAA basketball tournament. The word came as Gumbel announced the second round in the East Regional to be held in San Jose, California. Number four seed Syracuse came up on the screen, and moments later the crowd erupted in cheers as the Grizzlies were introduced as the 13th seed.

A double-dose of good news for Montana fans on Monday, as the Big Sky Conference named junior forward/guard Kareem Jamar as the Offensive Player of the Year, and senior guard Will Cherry, for the second year in a row, was named the Defensive Player of the Year.
