Is This Elevator Murder Prank Effective Marketing for ‘Dead Man Down’?
Well, technically their plan worked, even though we think they are jerks. To promote a movie, ad agency Thinkmodo decided to stage a fake murder in an elevator and see how people react when the doors opened onto somebody being killed, so that they could film it and put it on the internet.
Reactions vary to seeing a man being strangled with an electrical cord, but the last one is a real gem. Now we know about the movie ‘Dead Man Down.’ And also that the people at Thinkmodo have no problem scaring the living bejesus out of people who don’t take the stairs.
