The Coming of the New Year marks the 18th annual celebration of First Night in Missoula, put on by the Missoula Cultural Council. The organization celebrates the value of diverse cultures and helping our community understand its place in the world. First Night is a family friendly celebration to help ring in the New Year without alcohol. Executive Director of the MCC Tom Benson says the event is based on four principles:

New Year's Eve with First Night Missoula is filled with theater, dance, artists, poetry readings, comedy, music, food, and family entertainment. It's all happening this Saturday from noon to midnight.
