The University of Montana women's soccer team claimed their first Big Sky Conference title since 2000.

Their reward? A 1st-round matchup with NCAA Tournament favorite Stanford.

The Cardinal have gone undefeated over the last three regular seasons, and have finished as the national runner-up the past two tournaments.

This is a Stanford team that has a chip on its shoulder, and a lot to prove after back-to-back second-place finishes.

But they will be facing a Montana squad that has overcome adversity all season long under 1st-year head coach Mark Plakorus.

The Griz and Cardinal will square off on Friday, November 11th.
