As good as advertised! I don't know if you need to say much more about the guy. He has certainly lived up to all the preseason hype. Montana Grizzly senior defensive end Zack Wagenmann (pictured vs. South Dakota) is the Big Sky Conference defensive player of the week for the second time this season. The 6-3, 250-pounder from Lolo/Missoula registered 8 tackles - three for loss - with two sacks, two quarterback hurries, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup in Montana's 18-15 win over North Dakota. You talk about the heart and soul of a unit? We are lucky to have him leading a defense that is pretty much carrying the Griz, at least for now. Congrats to Zack! Griz on a bye week. Back to work October 18 in Missoula against UC Davis.
