The three individuals who have been charged with allegedly shooting over 20 pets with blow darts in Lolo last fall won't be appearing in court right away.

All three of the suspects, Tucker Miller, Mathew Breeden and Hayden Barker, have been summoned to appear in Missoula Justice Court on Thursday, February 4 at 3:00 p.m. to hear felony charges of aggravated animal cruelty and tampering with evidence.

According to court documents, the three were captured in September on surveillance video at a Missoula sporting goods store purchasing a blow gun and several darts, just days before the first attacks on cats and dogs in Lolo were reported, After a three month investigation led by Missoula County Sheriff's Detective David Walrod, all three said they participated in the attacks on pets, and eventually led Detective Walrod to a spot in the woods where they had destroyed and buried evidence of the attacks.

All three suspects will be appearing in person before a Missoula Justice of the Peace where they will hear the charges and possible penalties, and then bail will be set. Their cases will be decided in Missoula District Court.
