Man Crashes Into Power Pole [AUDIO]

Early this afternoon a man driving westbound on Industry Street, in Missoula, lost control of his Subaru on the icy road and smashed into a power pole. The accident happened near the intersection of Industry Street and Commerce off of West Broadway. The impact crushed the front of the car, but the driver was not injured. Traffic Sergeant Greg Amundsen describes what happened.

Power was disrupted in the surrounding businesses for some time, and the street remained closed until crews could clear the wreckage. The name of the man can not be released until he appears in court.
