After asking for the community’s assistance in locating and verifying the welfare of Missoula resident Charlie Ann Wyrick last week, officials say the search has come to an end.

NBC Montana reported today, Dec. 28, that 26-year-old Wyrick has been declared a victim to homicide.

Wyrick was found yesterday in the Deer Creek area, according to reports.

An MCSO coroner will be working with the State Medical Examiner to complete the coroner’s investigation. The manner and cause of death is still pending the results of an autopsy.

Officials said a male suspect is expected to be charged.

KGVO News will update with more information as it becomes available.
