The Missoula County Attorney’s Office prosecuted over 20 felony cases this week, including some odd crimes. County Attorney Kirsten Pabst says about a fourth of the felony cases involved crimes against persons.

"One was an assault with a weapon, the defendant allegedly scratched his partner and then pulled out a pocket knife and threatened her with a pocket knife," Pabst said. "There was a Partner/Family Member assault in which a woman allegedly struck her partner with her phone in his face, causing an injury. There was a violation of an order of protection, and then a robbery case in which the suspect allegedly used an ax."

There was an arrest by U.S. Marshalls in Missoula, and another individual was accused of trying to block the arrest. There were five property crimes in town… as well as a strange case involving some illegal ditch digging.

"There was a forgery, some burglaries, then we filed a complaint against two individuals for exploiting an older person. Then there was a disorderly conduct and trespassing case  that involved a neighbor digging a ditch in another neighbor's driveway, which impeded the passage through that driveway, of any vehicle.

On top of all that, Pabst says there were a bunch of DUIs including four that received felony charges.
