Missoula’s mogul’s skier Landin Gardner has made a triumphant return to completion. Gardner finished 18th in a World Cup event held on Dec. 20th in Meribel, France. The race was Gardner’s first since injuring his right knee two years ago. The injury ruined his hopes of making the U.S. Olympic Ski Team and competing in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games.

Gardner felt that the 18th place finish was a positive start back into competition. He barely missed qualifying for the finals as only the Top 16 finishers advanced from the prelims. He plans to continue training and competing in upcoming events. Gardner has his goal set; making the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
