The Missoula County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing man who was last seen in Lolo.

Public Information Officer Paige Pavalone said on Monday afternoon that University of Montana student August Kramer, 21, of Missoula was last seen on Sunday, September 7.

"August Kramer was going fishing yesterday, and we believe he's somewhere in the Lolo area," Pavalone said. "He went to the Missoulian fly shop and to the McDonald's in Lolo, and hasn't been heard from since. He hasn't checked in with his family or his roommate. He had some appointments that he was supposed to make, but he hasn't been heard from at all."

Kramer is described as being 6'2", tall and lean, and was driving a dark-colored Toyota Land Cruiser with Montana plate 1AG965.

Pavalone is asking anyone in the Lolo, Highway 93 corridor area who may know of Kramer's whereabouts to contact Detective Newell at the Missoula County Sheriff's Office at 258-4810.
