Colleen Windell, a Washington Middle School 7th grade teacher, is one of two state finalists for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.

The August issue of Outside Magazine has another big accolade for Missoula, a city the magazine says is one the "greatest places to live in America."

Earlier this week, the Pioneer League announced that Hector De La Cruz had been named Manager of the Year, and that Jon Griffin, Raymond Hernandez and Taylor Siemens had made the All-Star team. The Osprey can now put another feather in their cap when it comes to Pioneer League accolades.
