10 Years Later: Montana Remembers Lt. Col. Garnet Derby
We just passed the 10 year anniversary of the loss of a great Montana soldier in Iraq. US Army Lieutenant Colonel Garnet Derby paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country on February, 9th 2009.
Lt. Colonel Derby attended the University of Montana, and his hometown was listed by the US Army as Whitehall, Montana.
Former Army Ranger and Glasgow, Montana native Jonathan Wiens joined us on Montana Talks to remember the service and sacrifice of Lt. Col. Derby.
