Can red wine cure cancer? No, but it can do a lot of amazing things, like help curb depression and reduce cancer cell growth. Is this good enough reason to drink it? I think so.

However, I prefer red wine for other reasons. Reasons like how a nice glass of red wine tastes after a long day of work. Or perhaps, how a little or big splash of it in my homemade spaghetti sauce gives it that perfect flavor.

There is one thing I don’t like about my good friend red wine. That is how it makes my head feel the next day after I drink more than one glass of it the night before.

It turns out that red wine is also good for your heart thanks to its antioxidants and great for helping you sleep thanks to the melatonin. It seems as though red wine could be the cure all. It’s a legal wonder drug, really.

The great thing about it is that it doesn’t seem to matter which type of red wine you prefer, as long as its red, it’s good for you. So grab your favorite Cabernet Sauvignon, Chianti or Merlot, or mix it up with a little of each. It doesn’t really seem to matter.

The important thing is to drink red wine regularly. In moderation, of course, because there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
