All Republicans Set to Vote For Kavanaugh Today, Jeff Flake Included, says Senator Daines

According to Montana Senator Steve Daines all the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee plan on voting in support for Judge Brett Kavanaugh today, September 28.

Many had wondered whether Senator Jeff Flake might break from the rest of his party and side with the democrats in opposing Kavanaugh, but Daines told KGVO news this morning that his staff have received word that Flake is in support after the Thursday hearings featuring the accusations of sexual assault brought by Christine Blasey Ford against Kavanaugh.

For his part, Daines said he thought the Thursday hearings were a "circus" and that he hopes to see Judge Kavanaugh as Justice Kavanaugh. Daines believes Montana Senator Jon Tester will oppose Kavanaugh's nomination, but does not know for sure where he stands.
