The streets overflowed with people watching the annual Ravalli County Fair parade Wednesday, August 29. The Bitterroot Mountettes State Champion drill team presented the colors. They also won first place for Mounted Groups at the parade. Other winners in the categories were:
Horse-drawn vehicles - Roy Woodside of Potomac with white-soxed mules
Adult Novelty - Rodeo Clowns Nancy and Karen
Clubs & Organizations - Ravalli Services
Schools and Churches - Hamilton School District
Commercial - Lakeland Feed and Supply
Antique Machinery (restored) - Darrel Sperry
Antique Machinery (unrestored) - Blair Stevens wil the 1947 Model AI International
Vehicles (1950 and older) - Bob And Saron Luedecke with 1917 Model T Touring Car
Vehicles (1050 and newer - Tom Chaffin and 1951 Pontiac
>Dogs - 4-H Dog Project
And, the crowd favorite (at least for the kids!) the Donaldson Readi-Mix Candy Conveyor (see photo below).
