COVID-19 Update: Montana Adds 5,057 New Cases, Nine More Deaths
As of Monday morning, Montana has confirmed 227,094 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 5,057 new confirmed cases. There are currently 14,602 active cases in the state.
According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,370,088 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 546,828 Montanans are fully immunized.
In Missoula, 189,724 doses have been administered and 75,132 people are fully immunized. 65% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which remains the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.
According to state statistics, 209,507 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 292 people are currently hospitalized.
The number of tests increased by 18,702 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 2,460,762.
The state COVID-19 related death toll increased from 2,976 on Friday to 2,985 on Monday, according to state health officials.
