A resolution that prohibits camping and structures on Missoula county property was passed Wednesday on a majority vote by the county commissioners. During that meeting several community members sited the need for a 24 hour bathroom down town, which they claim would help alleviate sanitation issues near the courthouse. County commissioner Jean Curtiss says long before the occupy movement they did have a port-a-potty in the parking lot adjacent to the courthouse.

Curtiss says a 24 hour bathroom has never been identified as a need in the downtown area before the meeting on Wednesday but they will address the issue with Mayor John Engen.
