Glacier National Park Fee-Free on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
In commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Glacier National Park, as well as other national parks across the United States, will waive all entrance fees on Monday. Park spokeswoman Denise Germann said free entrance will take place all day, and in particular, Glacier National Park will have tons of fun activities.
"It's fee-free day meaning that there is no entrance fee for the park on that day, so it's an opportunity for folks to get out and enjoy the park!" Germann said. "There's cross country skiing, there's snowshoeing, there's wildlife viewing, and sometimes, you know, just sitting by the lake and taking in the view is worth the time."
Entrance fees normally range around $15 to $25 at Glacier National Park.
For more information about fee-free days, visit the national parks website or contact Glacier National Park at 406-888-7800.
