Saturday afternoon at Washington-Grizzly Stadium, the Eastern Washington Eagles beat the Montana Grizzlies in most statistical categories.

The Eagles fell short in the most important one, though: the scoreboard. The Griz rushed the ball for over 300 yards and averaged 6.7 yards per carry en route to a 17-10 win over Eastern Washington.

The Griz are now 1-0 in the Big Sky, and 2-1 overall. They will travel to California next Saturday to face the Sacramento State Hornets.
