The lead swung back and forth in wide swaths as the Hamilton Broncs fought to successfully stay alive in the State Class A boys basketball tournament Saturday morning, March 9, at great Falls. They defeated the Browning Indians 74-62. Browning dominated the fist minutes of the game, scoring 12 unanswered points. and led 25 to 17 at the end of the first quarter. Hamilton came back and led at the half 37 to 35 and increased that lead at the end of the third quarter 53 to 48. They led the rest of the way and had a 12-point lead at the final buzzer, 74 to 62. Hamilton had three players who scored at least 20 points each.
