Do you remember the days before streaming? These were the days when you only had a stack of DVDs (or even VHS) for entertainment. You would watch the same movie over and over. You are reciting the lines so much that you use them in your everyday conversations. Cult-classic comedies that you had no problem watching again and again.

FOR EXAMPLE: (From the top of my head)

  • "You're my boy Blue!" - Old School
  • "Smoke and a pancake?" -Goldmember
  • "Tiny Elvis has stage fright" - BioDome
  • "FOOD FIGHT" - Animal House
  • "You want a toe? I can get you a toe." - Big Lebowski

Could the next cult-classic comedy be a Montana-made film?

Many film projects have moved to Montana to film. With them comes a cast of recognizable names. Butte had sightings of Harrison Ford. While Missoula had sightings of Kevin Costner. But, I would have fallen out of my chair if I saw comedians Bobby Lee and Leslie Jones wandering around Butte. Only part of the extremely funny cast for the upcoming comedy "Guttermuckers."

This independent film stars Butte-born, Brick Patrick. Known for his roles in the movies "Now You See Me 2" and "The Anniversary at Shallow Creek"

According to NBC Montana

Born and raised in Butte, actor Brick Patrick has always hoped to bring his talents back to the Copper City to celebrate what makes it such a special place.

And what better way to honor Butte than a screwball comedy about a ragtag group of roofers, called “Guttermuckers,” a profession Patrick tried his hand at for a few summers while living in town.

The movie only recently wrapped up filming. This means roughly 6-8 months of editing before we will get to see the film. But, Brick promises to hold special screenings here in Montana.
