Victor Steakhouse Reopens With an Upscale New Look
One of the Bitterroot Valley's longest-running steakhouses has fired up its grill again. Apparently someone did a great job giving the old place a complete makeover while the doors were closed.
Victor Steak House has opened back up under new management after being completely renovated. Judging by the photos that I have stumbled across online, the newly renovated steak house does appear to be significantly more modern than I would ever imagine.
Victor Steak House Reopens Under New Management
After the renovation, the interior of the dining area/bar has been totally redone and appears to be a much more polished and professional take on what is typically considered to be your average 'steakhouse'. According to the restaurant's description, The Victor Steak House is a locally owned and operated family-run business. Executive chef/general manager Toby McCracken oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations.

Although I have not personally visited the new and improved Victor Steak House, I will say that the photos have definitely caught my eye.
It's Not Just a Building
In addition to the total renovation of the building, there also appears to be a total transformation of the menu offerings of the Victor Steak House.
The new menu appears to reflect the idea of the traditional "steakhouse". The menu includes various cuts of beef, including filet mignon, New York strip steaks, ribeye steaks, and porterhouse steaks, as well as prime rib every Friday and Saturday night. The Seafood offerings include halibut, salmon, lobster, shrimp, etc.
Judging strictly by the photos, the presentation seems to match the new surroundings. This looks less like a casual stop for a steak and more like somewhere you could head for a date night, anniversary, or special occasion without having to drive all the way into Missoula. In my opinion, this would be a welcome addition to our Bitterroot community.
Another Reason to Visit Victor
Over the years, I have witnessed many changes in the Bitterroot Valley. It's nice to see an existing local restaurant experience a resurgence in popularity and excitement rather than closing its doors forever. The Victor Steak House has been an integral part of the Bitterroot community for many years. After changing hands and undergoing a major renovation, the Victor Steak House is experiencing a new chapter with new owners, a refurbished facility, and a sleeker, more upscale appearance.
