YUNGBLUD Announces Montana Concert For Summer 2026
So right now, planning a summer concert road trip in Montana feels less like “buying tickets” and more like hosting a financial strategy meeting around gas prices.
Still, some shows are probably worth burning a tank of gas for.
YUNGBLUD is coming to the MontanaFair in Billings on August 7th, and for a lot of rock fans across western Montana, this has that “you know what… this could actually be a blast” kind of summer concert energy.
Especially if you need an excuse to get out of Missoula for the weekend, survive on gas station snacks, and take in the delightful smell of boiled sugar beets and oil refineries. (If you've ever been to Billings, you know what I'm talking about.)
YUNGBLUD Is All Over The Place With Rock Royalty
If you still have not been paying attention to YUNGBLUD, the guy keeps finding himself connected to some pretty legendary names. He worked with Aerosmith, appeared at Ozzy Osbourne’s massive “Back To The Beginning” concert, and ended up in one of the more surreal backstage moments of the year when Ozzy jokingly “anointed” him as the next "Prince of Darkness."
Which is one of the most Ozzy things imaginable.
And whether older rock fans want to admit it or not, YUNGBLUD has done a pretty solid job bridging younger alt-rock fans and classic rock audiences. The whole thing feels chaotic, loud, emotional, and just weird enough to work.
A Montana Road Trip Just Feels Different
If you do not stop every 20 minutes for snacks and coffee, and nobody in the backseat is yelling that they need a bathroom break, the drive from Missoula to Billings is about four and a half hours.
