After the Grizzly Coaches Show, a friend and I stopped at Town & Country Lounge for a nightcap, because why not? We were watching baseball on one TV and the other showed a feature video on Suga Sean O'Malley and his upbringing in Helena, Montana. I had to do a double take because I saw "Helena, Montana" flash across a screen and had no clue why.

It was one of those moments when you're not really watching the TV, but then my ears perked up seeing a place I've been to. The feature highlighted O'Malley's return to Helena for the first time since becoming a father. It shows the Bantamweight Champ holding a meet & greet promoting Happy Dad (terrific seltzer) at a Helena Town Pump. It's pretty cool hearing him talk about how he sees himself in the young fans at the meet & greet.

Meeting the fans felt like I was just meeting younger versions of me. I would've been that kid standing in line if there's someone from Helena that made it and came back. -O'Malley

I highly recommend you check out the video at the bottom. It's short but features some cool footage of Sean revisiting his days in Helena at his childhood home.

He was such a great presence on the sideline last year at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. Him and his crew were filming some sort of documentary-like film in his return to Montana. Who knows, maybe it was the same weekend they filmed his Helena return.
