Missoula Police Need Your Vote to Win High-Tech Forensic Tool

The Missoula Police Department can use your help, and all it will take is for you to cast a vote.  

The Missoula Police Department has been selected as one of five finalists nationwide for SUMURI’s 2025 “SUMURI Gives Back” program, and has the chance to win a brand-new, dual-boot PALADIN TALINO forensic workstation.  

According to a press release from Officer Whitney Bennett, from the Public Information Office of the Missoula Police Department, Missoula is currently in second place with nine days left in the competition. 

The forensic workstation is cutting-edge technology used to process child exploitation cases, investigate violent crimes, recover stolen data, and support complex digital investigations.

It only takes a minute. First, click on the police department you want to vote for, enter your name and email. They will then email you a four-digit code to enter to verify your vote. They DO NOT save your email; it’s only to verify your vote.  

I went through the process and voted for Missoula, and it was very easy.  Voting ends December, 19, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST.

Who Missoula Is Competing Against

Missoula is up against police departments in Connecticut, New Jersey, Florida, and Italy. As of press time, Missoula is trailing Florida for the most votes. There is still time for you to cast your vote and help Missoula win a valuable tool to help fight crime in our community.
