Montana’s High Intellect May Not Be A Surprise

The average IQ on most standardized tests is 100 according to Above and Beyond Therapy, but there are other factors in determining an IQ. The National Library of Medicine has listed some of the other factors when determining an IQ, like well-being, crime, education, health and income. When taking all of them into account, Montana overall IQ ranks high.
Visualcapitalist.com has created a map of the U.S. using information from the National Library of Medicine from 2022, and it shows how high Montana's average IQ is compared to other states. Montana's average IQ ranks 6th (tied) highest in the country. We are tied with Maine with an average IQ of 103.4. I always thought we were smart, I never knew we were that smart.
