Stay in an Amazing Treehouse Retreat in Montana’s Best Fall Destination [PHOTOS]
Given the popularity of autumn destinations around the country, we were a bit surprised when we learned recently that Columbia Falls, Montana, is considered one of the top fall destinations in the country.
But when you see this amazing Treehouse Retreat in Columbia Falls (pictured below during the fall) it makes all kinds of sense. Have you heard of The Raven's Nest or The Meadowlark?
These two treehouses are part of the Montana Treehouse Retreat on Airbnb, designed by Darin Robison and Kati O'Toole and featured in major publications like Time, Outside Magazine, and on HGTV. The treehouses are located only 30 minutes away from Glacier National Park, which is ideal because autumn is also one of the best times to visit the park.
The property includes private patios for each of the treehouses and firepits, perfect for telling ghost stories on crisp autumn nights.

Owners Darn and Kati also share on the Montana Treehouse Retreat website that they're working on another treehouse. "We are currently in the midst of rebuilding a salvaged 1966 Trojan Sea Voyager into its final resting place in the trees," the website says. What an interesting and incredible experience that will be.
One feature of the Raven's Nest that is so impressive is the tree trunks that are inside the property. Combined with the A-frame, the elevated foundation, and the wood aesthetic, it really feels like an adult treehouse.
Right now, there's a string of five nights available in November for $199 a night (not including fees) to stay in the Raven's Nest. You can see more photos of the Raven's Nest Treehouse below.
