One of Your Favorite Missoula-Made Products Is Now Available at Scheels

It's a somewhat rare but cool experience when you're in a major retail store and you stumble upon a product made in Montana.

I've mentioned that I recently got a puppy so I've made a lot of trips to just about every retailer in Missoula that has products for dogs, and whether I'm in Petco, Petsmart, or Ace Hardware, it puts a smile on my face when I see West Paw dog toys (made in Bozeman) on the shelf next to the Kongs.

Now, a Missoula clothing company can be found in Scheels and it's a wild story of how it happened.

Owner Mallory Ottariano shares the story of how Youer clothing is now available in the Missoula Scheels store.

Here's How it Happened: 

She says months ago she put a call out to her audience on Instagram asking if anyone knew anyone at Scheels. There were leads but she says something totally "serendipitous" happened. Kristjana posted, "So random, but I saw this business card today on a counter at Drum coffee shop, and remembered you were looking for a contact at Scheels, not sure it'll help, but maybe!"

Turns out, it did.

The card belonged to a women's athletic buyer at Scheels and one thing led to another and now, yes, you can find Youer products in the Missoula Scheels. You can see the whole story below.

In the post, Ottariano says Youer Products aren't available "in many stores - only about a dozen" and admits "being in Scheels is a really big deal for us."

Not only are their products in Scheels but they just celebrated the grand opening of their new location at 826 Kern Steet in Missoula. Congratulations to the team at Youer!
