Why Gary’s Local Disappeared (Briefly) From Downtown Missoula
Missoula Reddit was asking about beloved Gary's Local Burgers earlier this week.

The user mentioned that the downtown location was gone for a day, and the one at T and C was MIA, so I put on my Sherlock Holmes cap to get to the bottom of what's happening at Gary's.
Gary's Burgers is here to stay
I received some good news after I reached out to Gary's asking what's up.
"We would never leave Missoula," said Gary's Local's Instagram via direct message.
"And we're already back at the downtown location. Occasionally, we swap the trailers between our Kalispell, TC, downtown MSO locations, but usually people don't notice."
The only reason the downtown spot was missing was that it was having some work done.

Now, there is a little bit of truth to the Gary's at TnC.
"*however* the TC location is taking a ski break up in Whitefish, with a grand opening on Winter Carnival."
Let the TnC spot take its vacation up north, and it'll be back soon enough. There's nothing to see here, move along!
Gary's providing meals
I appreciated Gary's Local Burgers getting back to me, and they wanted to let people know that they are providing meals to those protesting.
"But since our job is to feed people, if you’ve heard of any solidarity-with-Minneapolis-related events or groups pls let us know. We’ll provide meals for those striking or organizing or protesting, gratis obviously."
