Flathead County Arrests 2 More for Kalispell Biker Brawl
Flathead County authorities have made another arrest in connection with last month's "biker brawl" in Kalispell, apprehending two local men believed to be key leaders in one of the motorcycle clubs.
The arrest came earlier this week in Kalispell, as Flathead County Sheriff's deputies were following up their investigation using a warrant from a parole violation.
Investigators have been working on the February 11th incident, which saw members of two rival clubs from Washington State clashing at the "Flathead Valley Fight Night" at the Majestic Valley Area, between Kalispell and Whitefish.
Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino had called it a "chaotic scene", where as many as 50 people were involved in the fracas. Investigators discovered later that two clubs, the Warriors and the Pagans had been at the core of the altercation, which sent two people to the hospital. Officers said they'd seen individuals wearing the "colors" of both clubs at the scene.
The latest arrest was made Tuesday
On Tuesday, FCSO deputies, Kalispell Police, and probation and parole officers went to a home in Kalispell looking for Michael Allen Murphy, who was already wanted for a parole violation. Deputies say when they arrived, Murphy tried to run but was taken into custody. Several others inside the house came out willingly. But one additional man, identified as Kyle Martin Johnson, remained inside for half an hour until he finally surrendered. He was wanted on several outstanding warrants. One officer was injured.
Now, the sheriff's office is saying both Murphy and Johnson are involved with the Pagans. Authorities say Murphy is the President of the Flathead chapter of the club, while Johnson has been identified as the vice president of the club.
Local, and federal authorities are continuing their investigation.
