Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On May 19, 2025, at approximately 4:41 p.m., a Missoula Police Department officer observed a passed-out or sleeping male in a vehicle parked behind Northgate Plaza. The vehicle was parked “semi-crooked” in a parking space and is associated with 45-year-old Jeremy Oltz, who is on probation.

The officer exited her vehicle and approached the male, who was later confirmed to be Oltz. She observed a piece of tinfoil with a partially burnt blue pill sitting on top of it on Oltz’s lap. The officer recognized the pill as fentanyl.

The officer woke Oltz up, and he exited his vehicle. Another officer then arrived on the scene to assist. That officer took custody of Oltz while the original officer contacted Probation and Parole.
