The Missoula Police Department sent out the following update:

Through further investigation, the previous report of Nefataree Bartell being seen on March 6th was unsubstantiated.

The last confirmed contact with Nefataree Bartell was early afternoon on February 21st, in the area of Gold Creek and Highway 200.

The individual who spoke with her on that day has already been interviewed by detectives.

A Search and Rescue has already been activated in the area. Please contact Missoula County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue regarding the search.

Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On March 9, 2023, at around 3:33 p.m., the Missoula Police Department announced they were searching for Nefataree Bartell and they need assistance from the public.

Bartell is a 26-year-old female who was reported missing on March 8th and was last seen in the Missoula area on Monday, March 6th, in the afternoon.
