In a rare opportunity for Montana residents, renowned China expert Gordon G. Chang is set to speak at two upcoming events in Miles City and Columbus in 2025.
Chang is known for his provocative insights and extensive experience in Asia. He is the author of "The Coming Collapse of China" and "Plan Red: China's Project to Destroy America."
I'm looking forward to chatting with Gordon Chang on our statewide radio show, Montana Talks, coming up on May 16th. You can see him in person in Columbus, Montana on Friday, June 6th and/or in Miles City on Saturday, June 7th.
I first got to hear about these events from the Miles City Patriots Roundtable crew during the Dawson County Lincoln Reagan Dinner earlier this year. Below are flyers for both events in Columbus on June 6th and Miles City on June 7th.
If you haven't seen nor heard of Gordon Chang on Fox News or elsewhere before, he is incredible. What an opportunity for folks here in Montana to get a chance to meet him.
Chang was just on Fox Business talking about China, factories closing down, and the weakening of Communist Chinese leader Xi Jinping:
Gordon Chang: "There are factory closures. China can't sell to the global south or to anybody else the products that it would otherwise have sold to the US, because Trump's tariffs at their current rates keep many Chinese products out of our country. And that means these export oriented factories, especially those in the southern portion of the country, they have been closing. They've been in trouble for a couple of years now, and they certainly are at a point where they can't continue. This is something that is weakening Xi Jinping's hold on power. Remember, he's got near total accountability, because he's taken power from everybody else, and that means he's being blamed for the tariff war, as the Chinese call it, and that means his grip I think is now weakening. He's not the all powerful leader that he was pre COVID."
