Fox News: Video of Dem-aligned individual at Montana ballot box sparks 'tampering' concern from election administrator

NY Post: Democrat Senate campaign org fires employee accused of ‘tampering’ with Montana ballot box

A Democrat party operative was caught on camera tampering with an election ballot drop box in Glacier County, Montana just two weeks before election day.

In video posted Tuesday afternoon by Fox News, a person is seen tampering with a ballot drop box in Montana. At one point, it appears as though the individual is trying to tear the ballot box off the wall.

The Glacier County Elections office has ballot drop boxes in Browning and Cut Bank, Montana.

I reached out to the Montana Secretary of State's office concerning the video. Here's the response we received from Richie Melby, the Communications Director for Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen:

Richie Melby: "The Glacier County election administrator contacted our office expressing serious concern over surveillance footage that appeared to show an individual 'tampering' with a ballot box." (see her email below)

Our Elections Director contacted the election administrator, who confirmed that the individual in the footage is Laszlo Gendler. The name of the suspect and details were turned over to Glacier County law enforcement. Our Elections Director was pleased that the individual was not able to remove the ballot box from the wall, although the activity was obviously highly suspicious and concerning."

According to OpenSecrets.org, Gendler has been paid as recently as this year by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC). The DSCC is an arm of the Democrat Party working to help Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) in his re-election battle against Navy SEAL veteran Tim Sheehy (R-MT).

According to the memo from the elections office below, the operative claims he was just checking "to see how secure the box was." However, the election administrator pointed out that the MT Dem Party did not notify her office that this would be taking place.

Here's the full email from the Glacier County Elections office to the Montana Secretary of State.

LOOK: 35 Vintage Cereals That Perfectly Captured Pop Culture Moments

Movies and TV shows have always found ways to partner with cereal companies as part of their promotion strategy. While some may have come up with a giveaway in boxes, others went big by having their own cereal connected to the movie or TV show title. Here are vintage cereals that were used to promote some of pop culture's biggest moments (and some you probably forgot about).
