Let AOC's words in Missoula be your warning. Plus, the Yellowstone Co GOP announces their endorsements for school board races in Billings.

Did you get caught by surprise when the ballots for the school board elections showed up in your mailbox? I know. It's absurd that school board and city council elections take place in off years from when the rest of the elections take place. We need to fix that in Montana. In the meantime, though, you need to get out and vote for school board candidates.

What are some of the competitive elections for school board that you are seeing across Montana? I noticed that the Yellowstone County Republicans announced their endorsements in the Billings school board elections.

Yellowstone County Republicans: "School Board ballots are out. John VonLangen has and will continue to represent you well. Please reelect John. Amanda Brown is a great candidate who will fight for children and parents rights. Bank your vote…vote today!!"
I was glad to see the GOP speak out on the school board elections. So often, people get all excited about presidential and Congressional races...but then they ignore these critical local elections like city council and school board.
Democrats just got demolished in the 2024 elections. But let the words of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) at the rally in Missoula, Montana be a warning to those of you who might be leaning towards complacency.

AOC: "We are here for the long haul Montana, because we are here for the school boards and the community associations. We're here for the small business groups and the town councils, for public art, and gestures of inclusion, and we will build from there."
