Recapping the Soviet Style Show Trial Against Montana’s AG

This line tells you everything you need to know about the Soviet style show trial that was used to try and attack Montana's Attorney General Austin Knudsen: "State Attorney General Austin Knudsen is making headlines — but not the kind you want when you're seeking reelection."

That was a line from Montana Public Radio's "Campaign Beat" political conversation. And that is of course exactly the point.

The Left wing mob on the Montana Supreme Court is trying to interfere in a statewide election by allowing some phony commission to attack Montana's Attorney General a little over 3 weeks before election day. This entire joke of a complaint against AG Knudsen was designed to allow the liberal media to attack the Republican AG with 3 weeks before the election with their phony headlines to try and make him look bad.

But you watch, this will backfire on them. AG Knudsen will score a massive reelection victory this November. This stunt may cost Democrats even more votes in other down ballot races.

Montanans are disgusted at the political lawfare that is being used in this country right now to go after political opponents. The same tactics that have been used against President Trump, to no avail, are also being used against Republican Attorneys General like Austin Knudsen.

I got a chance to get a recap of both day 1 and day 2 of this absurd "trial" where they put the elected AG himself on the witness stand. We heard from Kyle Schmauch, an aide to the Senate Majority Leadership in the Montana Legislature.

It reminds me very much of the political persecution of Donald J Trump when that New York judge refused to allow Donald Trump to defend himself. Nope, the judge will not allow that evidence. No, the judge won't let you make that argument. It sounds like that is the same pattern that took place this last week in Helena with the Democrat donor special counsel leading this political persecution against Austin Knudsen. He wouldn't allow Knudsen to present evidence. Wouldn't allow Knudsen to provide a defense. What a sham.

The bottom line is this: Attorney General Austin Knudsen (R-MT) is the best AG in the country. He is rock solid when it comes to our gun rights and standing up against the woke agenda. He's filed over 50 lawsuits to hold the Biden Administration accountable for federal overreach. He's also been a staunch defender of the laws on the books here in Montana. No wonder the Left wing mob on the Montana Supreme Court wants to undermine him and interfere in our elections.

One more reason to vote for "the Sons of Montana- Cory SwanSON and Judge Dan WilSON" for Montana Supreme Court.
