Lake County Victim Dies – Negligent Homicide Charges Filed

24 year-old Cassandra Harris of Ronan, the woman who was found over the weekend along the road near Lake McDonald in Lake County, has died from her injuries.

Lake County Sheriff Don Bell said four suspects were taken into custody on Sunday.

“They are 18 year-old Julia Vale of Browning, charged with negligent homicide, 19 year-old Gale Hendickx of Pablo, negligent homicide, 18 year-old Donnovan Sherwood of Arlee, charged with obstructing justice and 22 year-olf Joseph Parizeau, Jr. of Ronan, charged with negligent homicide.”

Bell said two of the suspects, Vail and Hendrickx, have been released following a court hearing in Lake County Justice Court, while Sherwood and Parizeau remain in custody.

The investigation into Cassandra Harris’ death is ongoing, and the Lake County Attorney’s office is handling the charges.
