Mavs Split At Firecracker Tourney

The Missoula Mavericks just wrapped up their third day of action at the Firecracker Tournament in Rapid City, South Dakota.

The Mavs took to the field at 7:30 this morning against Las Vegas, Nevada. Missoula took a perfect 3-0 record into the contest, but fell short 9-6.

Missoula had little time to wallow in defeat, though, as they played immediately afterward at 10:00 AM against Coon Rapids, Minnesota. The Mavericks bounced back with a tidy 7-5 win and are now 4-1 in pool play heading into Saturday's games.
