Missoula Crime – Driver Crashes Into Crash Investigation Vehicle, Lots of Assaults
For the third week in a row, the Missoula County Attorney’s office had over 20 felony cases. Missoula County Attorney Kirsten Pabst said at least six of those cases involved violence.
"There was a Partner/Family Member Assault second offense, the allegation is the defendant assaulted his partner with a very small child present... a 4-year-old," Pabst said. "A female defendant punched her boyfriend in the face. There was an intimidation case There were a couple assault with a bodily fluid cases. In one, a defended tried to kick an officer, she destroyed the inside of a patrol car and spit blood and mucus on the officer allegedly."
There were also a lot of crimes involving irresponsible driving.
"One defendant was driving with a BAC very, very high, three children under 10 were present and two adults in the back of the truck," Pabst said. "There were three felony DUIs, one involving a suspect that was three times over the legal limit. There was a Careless driving case, which involved some slippery roads and the defendant slid into the city's crash investigation vehicle."
On top of all that, there were four drug cases, a forgery case, and an incident of criminal mischief in which a suspect had allegedly broken a vehicle’s window and was found sleeping inside.
