It's always good to hear about a local success story - especially when that success story is all about celebrating and taking pride in the great state of Montana!

Have You Ever Been to HomeTana in Downtown Missoula?

HomeTana began as a basement operation almost ten years ago - owner Shirstie Gaylord and her team would make Montana-themed t-shirts in her basement and then sell them at the Great Falls Farmers Market. A few years ago, they were able to open a storefront in Missoula located on Higgins. And that's proved successful enough that the business is headed back to where it all started.

HomeTana Just Opened a New Location in Great Falls

According to KRTV News via Newsbreak, HomeTana just held the official grand opening for a new storefront in Great Falls on Thursday, May 5th. The store tested the waters in Great Falls with a pop-up shop in November and December - which seemed to be successful enough that it convinced the owner to move forward with the new store.

The operation has expanded a lot since the old Farmer's Market days. Now, HomeTana has got a team of more than 70 artists working on t-shirts, handmade soaps, and more Montana-themed products.

And if you can't make it out to either of the stores, you can always poke around their website to see what they've got in stock and order your products online. Who knows, maybe this is just the beginning - could we be seeing a HomeTana location in every major Montana city over the next few years?
