Missoula PaddleHeads’ Exhibition Will Raise Money for United Way
When it comes to Missoula PaddleHeads baseball, most of the attention has been put on May 25 as the day the 2022 season begins. And I can't argue that as May 25 is the opening day of the season as well as the first home game of the year for the PaddleHeads. But if you really want to get down to baseball business, your first chance to see the team on the field in 2022 will actually be this Friday night. Yep, the PaddleHeads will play an exhibition game before they start to play for realsies next week.
It'll be a fun season at Ogren Park
There's a lot to look forward to with the upcoming season. The PaddleHeads were league champions last year so they'll have a big target on their back as teams always want to beat the big dog. And there are a bunch of promotional nights and giveaways planned for the season as bobblehead night returns and multiple fireworks nights are scheduled. Other fun includes karaoke night, throwback nights, special jersey nights, a Baseball Brewfest, and more.
Help the United Way of Missoula County when you buy a ticket
The spring training exhibition game on Friday will see the PaddleHeads take on Idaho Falls at 7:05 PM. Not only is it the first chance to see what this year's team will look like, but tickets are just $5 for general admission with 100% of the proceeds going to the United Way of Missoula County.
Yes, the United Way scores with every ticket purchase, but $5 tickets also mean more money left to spend on beer or PaddleHeads' merch that you can wear during the rest of the season.
Take me out to the ballgame!
Our weather is still toying with us a bit and Friday might see temps in the mid-50s range. But if you're looking to have some inexpensive family fun to kick off the weekend, head to Ogren Park and see the Missoula PaddleHeads in action!
