Police Use Taser to De-Escalate Fight in Downtown Missoula [VIDEO]
The Missoula County Detention center has three new inmates tonight, as the individuals are serving time for resisting arrest and assault against Missoula police officers. The incident began when a fight broke out between a man and a woman.
According to KPAX:
... (the man) tried to talk to the woman, but she took off. Officers responded trying to arrest the woman, but she kicked and bit officers while trying to get away.
According to eye-witnesses, tasers were used by the officers as one of the men attempted to break free from the officers detaining him. Another man involved in the altercation was handcuffed after being put to the ground. By the time the situation was resolved, the police had backup arrive to help keep the peace.
All three individuals involved will soon face a judge for the charges of a misdemeanor.
