Missoula Women Arrested For Meth Possession In Idaho
Two Missoula women, 43 year-old Heather Peterson and 27 year-old Lacey Lackey were arrested on Saturday in Kooskia, Idaho on drug charges.
According to the Idaho County Sheriff's Office, the two women and a 30 year-old Spokane, Washington man were stopped at the Weir Hot Springs parking lot for driving erratically.
Corporal Hoodman observed as he spoke with the occupants of a 1988 Nissan Maxima that there was a marijuana pipe in plain view. When Hoodman asked the occupants leave the vehicle, he recovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and Ambien pills that were not prescribed.
Peterson was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, possession of non-prescribed medication and providing a false identity to law enforcement.
Lackey was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia,
Both are being held in the Idaho County jail on $10,000 bond.
