Missoula Fire Department crews responded to two emergencies on Monday, first to rescue an injured paraglider on Mt. Sentinel, then to rescue people in the Clark Fork River near the California Street footbridge.
Missoula philanthropist Terry Payne has donated the land upon which the present Missoula Public Library sits to the City of Missoula. The land is valued at nearly $3 million.
A Missoula woman was jailed after allegedly punching and kicking a female police officer who was attempting to arrest her. She is being held on $10,000 bond.
