New McDonalds Hiring Close To Home [AUDIO]

The newest McDonald's restaurant will be officially opening Friday morning at 6 am at the Wye just outside Missoula. What makes the event noteworthy is the fact that the majority of the employees will have a short commute

. I spoke with the Manager of the new store, Shane, and he said most of the new employees live in Frenchtown, the community hit hard by the closure of the Smurfitt-Stone Container Mill. Shane says not only does McDonald's provide an excellent place to work, but the location at the Wye is close enough so that the employees from Frenchtown won't have to travel far to get to work.
