Tonight at Missoula County Stadium, the Sentinel High School football team will play their final home game of the season.

That, of course, means that tonight is also "Senior Night", where 17 of Sentinel's best will be honored one last time.

The season hasn't gone the way anyone at Sentinel thought it would. A rash of injuries, untimely mistakes and heart-breaking losses have doomed Sentinel so far this year. The Spartans enter tonight's game against Helena with a 1-6 record.

But this year's group of seniors have refused to quit, and have gotten progressively better with each passing week. Most players in this situation would have mailed it in by this point, but Sentinel is approaching tonight's game against the 7-0 Bengals with the intention of toppling Class AA's only undefeated team.

Pregame action begins at 6:45, the opening kickoff is at 7:00 on AM 930 KMPT.
